When Dr. Loren Wilkins founded his optometry practice on Douglas Avenue in 1937, his vision and dedication to the care of his patients was his utmost priority. Eye care has changed since that time, and Dr. Wilkins’s practice has evolved into what is now West Wichita Family Optometrists. Although we have grown into one of the largest practices in Kansas through referrals from family and friends, our vision remains the same. More than 75 years later, we use state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, yet we remain committed to the standard of excellence established so long ago.
