Fire Hydrant Meter Program

Our Fire Hydrant Meter Program provides qualified applicants with easy access to water from fire hydrants for construction and various projects. To obtain a Fire Hydrant Meter Permit, please complete the permit application and click on the provided links for more information on conditions of service, and fee details, or contact us at (505) 289-3066.

Once we receive your permit application, our team will review it promptly and contact you within 3 business days. If your application is approved, a payment of $3,241.50 ($3,000.00 Loss/Damage & Payment Surety Deposit plus a non-refundable $241.50 connection fee) is required before issuing the meter.

Upon receiving the completed forms and your initial payment, we will schedule an appointment for you to pick up your Fire Hydrant Meter.

• Designated Agent Form (Upload copies of Owner's and Agent's Driver's Licenses, NM Contractor's License, and W-9)

Already Using a Fire Hydrant Meter? (If yes, please ensure monthly meter reads are sent to us)

Meter readings should be submitted between the 1st and 10th day of each calendar month, reflecting usage from the previous month.
