Sacramento Children's Museum has a wonderful program that helps you incorporate multiculturalism into your students' education by simply renting the Cultural Connections On-The-Go kit! This trunk includes detailed lesson plans with all of the necessary materials and background informatino that will make learning about another culture fun, interesting and easy for you. The hands-on lessons cover a variety of topics such as music, holidays, art crafts, history, geography and language. The lessons meet California content standards in English Language Arts, History-Social Science, and Visual and Performing Arts. Cultural Connections On-The-Go is a great way to let your children travel the world without leaving the classroom!
