ASI provides limited financial assistance and benefits counseling to either individuals who are caring for a disabled older relative in their home or a grandparent/older adult caring for children under the age of 18. ASI provides a support group for caregivers. The group meets the last Wednesday of the month at 2:00 pm at the Oak Place Community Center. Caregivers can learn coping and care giving skills, gain knowledge about diseases, medications, research, and legal issues.
